The Best Solution to Missing Teeth
Are you missing one or more teeth? Do you find yourself feeling self-conscious when smiling, laughing, or conversating? If so, you may be finding it hard to enjoy your favorite nutritious foods and enjoy life with a complete smile. Over time, missing teeth can lead to jawbone deterioration and changes to the appearance of your face. Thankfully, at Dental Starz, we offer a state-of-the-art solution for these problems: single or full mouth dental implants. Our Chicago, IL, dental practice can help you can replace problem teeth so you can enjoy a lifetime full of healthy, happy smiles!
The Characteristics
of Dental Implants
Both single and full mouth dental implants are made of three parts: a post, which is inserted into your jawbone and serves as your tooth root, an abutment that sets on top of the post, and a restoration that attaches to the abutment and serves as your brand-new set of teeth. By securely fixing your dental implants into your jawbone you can replace any number of missing teeth permanently. To ensure the success of our full mouth dental implant treatment, our implant dentist, Dr. Mohammed Asim is trained in the advanced surgical techniques required to place your dental implants and create a complete smile. We utilize top-of-the-line technologies and premium materials to ensure the best possible outcomes for every patient. Our commitment to our patients can help you regain a life of good oral health and a healthy smile.
Know Your Options
Dental implants are the most versatile solution to restoring missing, decayed, or failing teeth. When it comes to full smile rehabilitation, Dr. Asim uses his extensive training with dental implants to place a single implant to replace one tooth, a dental bridge to replace multiple teeth, implant-supported dentures to provide a smile with options of removability, or a permanent smile utilizing our full mouth dental implant option. Dental implants create a truly customized smile fit for your facial appearance and lifestyle, allowing you to enjoy your favorite daily activities and foods with ease.

The Dental Starz Implant Treatment Process
At Dental Starz, we take great pride in crafting a smile that’s unique to you and your smile goals. We begin this process by meeting with Dr. Asim for a consultation here at our Chicago, IL dental office where we will discuss your dental concerns and smile goals, engage in a complete examination of your current oral health, and obtain detailed digital imaging of your mouth. We will then create your treatment plan which will include your surgical procedure, preferred sedation option, and finalized image of your smile. On the day of surgery, we’ll go over your treatment plan once more to ensure everything is just the way you want it. Once confirmed, we’ll make incisions on your gumline and insert four to six dental implant posts at a 45-degree angle into your jawbone to create optimal support. Once inserted, Dr. Asim will attach the abutment and your temporary restoration. While your mouth heals through a process of osseointegration – where your dental implant fuses with your jawbone – we’ll get busy making your final restoration. Once completed, we’ll see you back at our office 3-6 months after surgery to place your final restoration. From here, you can enjoy a complete, healthy, and dazzling smile for decades to come!
Why Choose Dental Implants?
The advantages of single, multiple, and full mouth dental implants are unmatched. Unlike dentures that require the use of messy adhesives to stay in place, shift and fall out, and block up to 75% of taste, dental implants provide a permanent option for smile restoration. While dentures remain cost-effective since they don’t require surgery, they can prove more costly in the long run. With many disadvantages including jawbone deterioration and mouth sores, dentures have fallen short of our affordable dental implants. By requiring adequate bone density to remain secure in the jawbone, dental implants provide stimulation to keep the jawbone healthy and preserved. Dental implants also restore 99% of your biting and chewing ability while serving as a tooth root from being placed strategically into the jawbone.
